Andrew de Lotbinière Harwood has been dancing since 1975. He is the artistic director of AH HA Productions, an organization dedicated to the research, development and performance of structured and improvised dance.

His career as a choreographer has been enriched by his experience as a dancer with the choreographers Marie Chouinard, Jean-Pierre Perreault, Jo Lechay, Paul-André Fortier, Tedd Robinson and Sara Shelton Mann. Harwood has also collaborated with many well-known artists such as Benoît Lachambre, Louise Bédard, Daniel Soulières, Chris Aiken, Steve Paxton and Nancy Stark Smith.

Harwood is the recipient of the Canada Council's Jacqueline Lemieux award for the year 2000. He is currently developing the concept for his next creation called Stupéfaction which will be presented in 2004 and will be danced with renowned choreographers Ginette Laurin, Tedd Robinson, Pierre-Paul Savoie and Irèni Stamou.
